Applications are invited from interested and suitably qualified nationals of Member States and Associate Member States of the Association of Caribbean States (ACS) to fill the position of Political Adviser- Senior Professional at the Secretariat of the ACS.
Under the direction of the Secretary-General the incumbent will serve as Political Adviser. His/her functions will include acting as the focal point for all matters related to the political environment and activities of the ACS. He/she may accompany the Secretary-General or represent him/her at meetings of the organization and at other meetings and conferences of interest to the ACS.
Applicants should have a Post-Graduate University degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in the field of International Relations, development, economic or social sciences. A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience at the professional level is required. It would be considered an asset for the candidate to possess international experience, either in international organizations or by virtue of participation in international negotiations.
