DISCUSSIONS FOR PROSPERITY TOWN HALL MEETING HEADS TO MCKNIGHT

Basseterre, St. Kitts, September 07, 2016 (SKNIS):  The Team Unity Administration will host its sixth in a series of town hall meeting titled, “Discussions for Prosperity” on Thursday, September 08, 2016, at the McKnight Community Center at 7:30 pm.

Join Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris and his ministerial colleagues as they give an account of their stewardship in bringing about the Prosperity Agenda for the people of the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis.

GOVERNMENT PASSES LANDMARK LEGISLATIVE AMENDMENT TO PROTECT MINIMUM WAGE EARNERS IN SAINT KITTS AND NEVIS

Speakers at Thursday’s town hall meeting will include Prime Minister, Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris; Premier of Nevis, Senior Minister and Minister of Nevis Affairs, Labour, Social Security and Ecclesiastical Affairs, the Honourable Vance Amory; Minister of Public Infrastructure, Posts, Urban Development and Transport, the Honourable Ian Patches Liburd, and Senator and Minister of State within the Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender Affairs and Social Services, the Honourable Wendy Phipps.

Nationals and residents are asked to come out in their numbers and bring their questions and criticisms as these town hall meetings are by the people and for the people.

ZIZ Television (Channel 5) and Radio (95.9, 96.1, 96.3 and 96.9 FM) will provide live coverage on Thursday night.  The event will also be streamed online viawww.zizonline.com/tv/channel-5/ and the St. Kitts and Nevis Information Service’s (SKNIS) Facebook page.  Members of the viewing and listening audience can phone in during the question-and-answer segment by dialing 1(869) 466-5795.  They can also email their questions to discussionsforprosperity@gov.kn.
