St Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Unit receives Recognition Awards for Most Improved in the Caribbean and for its Efficiency

The Citizenship by Investment Unit (CIU) is developing a global reputation for exceptionally high standards.

This month the CIU hosted a reception jointly with the General Consul in Dubai, Mr Justin Hawley at the Crowne Plaza, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. CIU was in Dubai to show case the CIU and its recent developments as part of the Citizenship by Investment and International Residence Summit Middle East. The event, which took place on Wednesday the 12th October, provided the opportunity for Mr Hawley to introduce the new CEO, Mr Les
Khan, to marketing agents, investors and service providers in the region. With over 50 guests in attendance, Mr. Khan was able to reinforce St Kitts and Nevis’ commitment to the Citizenship by Investment program and to outline recent innovations within the unit designed to increase efficiency and performance.

Government of St. Kitts and Nevis Unveils Vibrant “Independence 42” Calendar, Celebrating 42 Yearsof Sovereign Progress

It was therefore a well-timed opportunity for the St Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Unit to receive the Recognition Awards. The first was awarded by Migrate World for the Most Improved in the Region. Migrate World is a marketing agent of the St Kitts and Nevis program and their representative, Mr. Moe Elhaj, on presenting the award stated: “On behalf of our team and clientele, we want to thank you for making this process a
secured and pleasant experience. Migrate World gives its utmost appreciation to the Citizenship by Investment Unit on its outstanding innovations, professionalism and processing for the year 2016.”

The second award was presented by Mr Mohammed Asaria, Co- Founder of Range Development, the developers of the Park Hyatt in St Kitts. On presenting a Certificate of Appreciation to Mr Khan and the CIU team, he said: “We are delighted to present this token of our appreciation. St Kitts and Nevis CIU has taken great strides to ensure governance and efficiency is instilled in the Citizenship by Investment program (CBI). The CIU’s efforts are bearing fruit, and customer feedback is extremely positive.”

The recognitions received by Mr Khan support the innovations he and his team have implemented. Recent innovations include the setting up of a Technical Committee to strengthen its due diligence framework and the advent of the Accelerated Application Process for applicants wishing to be fast tracked at a premium.
