A BILL to provide for the services of Saint Christopher and Nevis for the financial year commencing 1st January, 2017 and ending on 31st December, 2017.

BE IT ENACTED by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty by and with the advice
and consent of the National Assembly of Saint Christopher and Nevis and by the authority of the same as follows:-

ASPIRE Financial Literacy Day 2025 Set to Empower Youth Across Saint Kitts and Nevis

(Short title and commencement) 1. This Bill may be cited as the Appropriation (2017) Bill, 2016 and shall be deemed to have come into force on the first day of January, 2017.

Appropriation. 2. There shall be and there is hereby granted to Her Majesty the Queen for and during
the period of one year commencing from the 1st day of January 2017 and ending on the 31st day of December 2017, the sum of Five Hundred and Eighty-Eight Million, Forty-Three Thousand, One Hundred and Ninety Dollars($588,043,190) over and above the sums granted and provided under the Acts and other laws in force in Saint Christopher and Nevis, to be applied and expended in the manner and for the services Schedule. set forth in the Schedule hereto.

Sums charged on Consolidated Fund. 3. The said sum of Five Hundred and Eighty-Eight Million, Forty-Three Thousand, One Hundred and Ninety Dollars($588,043,190), shall be and the same is hereby declared to be charged upon and payable from and out of the Consolidated Fund.

Authority 4. The Accountant General of Saint Christopher and Nevis is hereby authorised and to pay. required from time to time upon the order or warrant of the Minister of Finance to pay the several services therein mentioned, as the said order or warrant shall direct, out of the Consolidated Fund without further order or formality.
