The Board of Governors of the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College (CFBC) invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the full-time position as:
Accounts Payable Officer
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Applicants must possess the following:
- An Associate’s Degree in Accounting or the Certified Accounting Technician qualification from an accredited institution
- At least two (2) years of experience working with accounting software (eg: QuickBooks)
- The ability to work in a team
- The ability to contribute to the achievement of the goals of the College
- Strong communication skills
- A high standard of customer service skills
MAIN DUTIES
- Record invoices in QuickBooks (QB)
- Reconcile monthly vendor statements with QB vendor balances
- Prepare checks to pay approved vendors and notify vendors when payments are ready
- Maintain and balance the petty cash
- Assist with preparation of Purchase Orders
- Assist with payroll functions
- Assist with posting the daily student transactions in the Student Information System
- Assist with Cashiering functions when necessary
