ASPIRE Financial Literacy Day 2025 Set to Empower Youth Across Saint Kitts and Nevis

An official spokesman from Government House confirmed on Sunday August 6, 2017, that the Governor General of Saint Kitts and Nevis , His Excellency Sir S W Tapley Seaton GCMG, CVO, QC, JP is currently hospitalized as he recovers from a mild illness. By extension, a spokesman for the JNF General Hospital has confirmed that His Excellency’s hospitalization is a precautionary measure, his illness is not life-threatening, he is in good spirits, and that he is expected to make a full recovery shortly.
His Excellency Sir S W Tapley Seaton was visited on the morning of Monday August 7, 2017 by the Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris; and Minister of State with responsibility for Health, the Honourable Wendy Phipps, both of whom confirm that the Governor General was resting comfortably. During that visit, His Excellency conveyed high commendations for the medical and nursing staff at the JNF General Hospital for the excellent care he has been receiving.
His Excellency the Governor General thanks all for their good wishes, care and concern at this time.
