GOVERNMENT NOTICE : TREASURY BILLS

December 31, 2025

“Residents are asked to read and share the following information and to take every precaution to protect life and property as the system advances”, Mr. Herbert said.
ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA METEOROLOGICAL SERVICES IS FOLLOWING THE PROGRESS OF TROPICAL DISTURBANCE 92L LOCATED ABOUT 750 MILES EAST OF THE LEEWARD ISLANDS AND ABOUT 970 MILES EAST-NORTHEAST OF THE BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS.

THE DISTURBANCE IS MOVING TOWARD THE WEST-NORTHWEST AT 20 MPH AND THIS MOTION IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS.

ON THIS TRACK, DISTURBANCE 92L COULD PASS UNCOMFORTABLY CLOSE TO ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA AND THE REST OF THE NORTHEAST CARIBBEAN SATURDAY NIGHT/SUNDAY, AS A TROPICAL DEPRESSION OR STORM. HENCE, RESIDENTS NEED TO MONITOR THIS SYSTEM VERY CLOSELY, UNTIL IT HAS CLEARED THE AREA.

Persons are also urged to avoid known waterways and ghauts, including not parking in those areas, during the passage of this system. The NDC has noted that NEMA community volunteers have been asked to be on standby, in order to provide situation reports and or address any reported impact on households.
