Distribution of Taxi Decals

In an effort to avoid the distribution of taxi decals during the busy period of the 2017-2018 cruise season, the Ministry of Tourism and the St. Kitts Tourism Authority have restricted the distribution of taxi decals.

Please be advised that decals will not be issued after Thursday 16th November, 2017unless in the case of a new vehicle or transfer.

This year, decals will be distributed via last names. Please see below for the following groups and dates:

               Date    Letter of Last Name
 20th September to 6th October               A to E
 10th October to 31st October               F to O
 1st November to 15th November               P to Z

Decals will be issued Monday to Friday during the following hours of 9:00am-12:00pm and 1:00pm- 3:00pm. Decals will not be issued on ship days.

All taxi operators are asked to come in to the office of the St. Kitts Tourism Authority and complete the following steps:

  1. Submit vehicle to SKTA dispatchers for inspection. Vehicles are to be brought to the parking lot of the St. Kitts Tourism Authority.
  2. Submit updated insurance documents.
  3. Pay the fee of XCD $40.00 per decal per vehicle.

Operators without the 2018 decal will not be dispatched jobs after Friday 1st December, 2017 at the dispatching points at the Airport, Deep Water Harbour or Port Zante, and will not be allowed to park in the official taxi parking lot on Port Zante.
