“We’re really excited about the train ride,” says National Trust Executive Director Ryllis Percival.

“We have regular patrons who start calling weeks in advance to book their tickets, because they know how much fun we have.”

The Journey Back in Time tour, though only six years old, has become one of the Trust’s most significant and popular fundraisers Ms Percival says, explaining that proceeds go towards the work of the Trust.

“The National Trust relies heavily on membership dues, donations and fundraisers.  We are deeply grateful to our members and the public for their support over the years,” the Executive Director indicated.

Tickets are available during regular business hours, at the National Trust Office in the Old Treasury Building on the Bay Road, Basseterre.  There are group rates and a discounted price for Members.

“We are ever grateful to the Scenic Railway for collaborating with us again, and affording us this opportunity to share our history in such a unique and exciting way,” Ms Percival said.

For more information and to book tickets, persons can call the National Trust office during regular business hours 9 am to 5 pm at 465-5584 or email admin@stchristophernationaltrust.kn.
