The Horsford’s Valu Mart IGA also facilitated a hurricane relief food and water  collection drive at the Horsford’s Complex parking lot . 1000’s of items were collected for shipment to the ravaged islands in an effort again coordinated by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce.  The  food drive took place on Friday 15th September. Persons purchasing  in Valu Mart IGA were facilitated with large bins  to accommodate their contributions of food and water  to the food and water collection drive .

St. Kitts was identified as the operational hub for relief efforts for the affected islands  because of its centralized proximity to those islands. The Horsford’s support of these efforts with the donation of items in addition to other activities ensures the strengthening of efforts to provide relief to our island neighbors
