The honourable prime minister, who is in London for the 2018 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM), held an audience with Her Royal Highness at Buckingham Palace.

Princess Anne, who is the second child and only daughter of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, is widely known for her charitable work. The princess is involved with over 300 charities, organisations and military regiments in the United Kingdom and throughout the Commonwealth of Nations.

Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris also shared some of the good news and developments taking place in St. Kitts and Nevis, such as the Federation’s booming tourism industry and the rapid pace at which it is becoming a world class destination.

The prime minister extended a personal invitation to Her Royal Highness to visit the beautiful twin island Federation.

Princess Anne shared some of her experiences during her past visits to different Caribbean islands with Prime Minister Harris.

At the end of their cordial meeting, Her Royal Highness Princess Anne presented the honourable prime minister with one of her very own portraits as a gift.
