The Board of Governors of the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College (CFBC) invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the following full-time position with effect from August 2018:
FOOD LAB (KITCHEN) TECHNICIAN
Qualification and Experience
- Applicants must possess an Associates’ Degree in Culinary Arts and at least three (3) years of industry experience
OR
- Applicants must possess at least ten (10) years of industry experience
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare supplies and set up equipment and tools for the kitchen practical sessions
- Assist with monitoring students during the kitchen practical sessions
- Ensure that equipment and tools are cleaned by students and returned to their storage area
- Assist with keeping stock of equipment, tools and supplies and recommendations for ordering
- Clean and maintain equipment and tools in good working condition
- Prepare weekly Activity schedule of work and submit to the Director of Hospitality Services
- Maintain Activity Log for work done
- Assist with maintaining Occupational Health and Safety Standards in the kitchen
- Assist with the catering of College events, including poster creation, menu planning, ordering and storage of supplies, food preparation, assembling short orders and serving
- Any with any other related duties

Salary:
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the current salary structure at the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College.
