Basseterre, St. Kitts, July 17, 2018 (SKNIS)—Mrs. Joycelyn Archibald-Pennyfeather, Dean of the Faculty of Teacher Education at the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College (CFBC); Eustace Davoren, Trained Teacher; Gairy Knight, Lecturer at CFBC; and Professor Dr. Joel Warrican,  are the special guests on the weekly radio and television programme “Working for You” on Wednesday, July 18, 2018.

Professor Warrican is Director of the Academic Programming and Delivery (APAD) Division of the University of the West Indies (UWI) Open Campus. He holds a PhD in Education and an MPhil in Educational Research from the University of Cambridge and a B.Ed. in Language Arts Education from the UWI.

The quartet will engage the audience in a discussion on the importance of teacher education and training and professional development; the Teacher Education programmes offered at the CFBC, the proposed Masters of Education programme; and the Strategic Plan (2018-2023) for Teacher Education at the CFBC, among other current issues in Education.

Hosted by Lesroy Williams, “Working for You” offers news, views, reviews, interviews and all the happenings of the Team Unity Administration, which has pledged transparency, accountability, good governance and a fair share for all citizens of the Federation.

The programme features government officials, heads of government departments, permanent secretaries and other government officials who will provide you with timely, relevant and accurate information as it relates to the social, economic, human, political and sustainable development of St. Kitts and Nevis

 

“Working for You” is carried live every Wednesday on ZIZ, WinnFM and Sugar City Rock from 1:30-3:00 pmand rebroadcast on Freedom FM, Von Radio on Thursdays from 7:30-9:00am and 10:30-12:00pmrespectively, and CBN-Radio on Sundays from 5:00-6:30pm.
