Bulletin: Vacancy – Director of Probation and Child Protection

The Human Resource Department on behalf of the Ministry of Community Development, Gender Affairs and Social Services wishes to invite suitable qualified nationals of the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis to apply for the position of Director of Probation and Child Protection on a full-time basis.

He or she will be required to manage the department services and lead a small team of officers working in close collaboration with agents in the Administration of Justice, Department of Education, Ministry of Health, families and the wider community to provide appropriate interventions in remediating issues of juvenile delinquency, child abuse and neglect and concerns of criminal activity.

The candidate should possess a first degree in Social work/ Criminology/ Criminal Justice or Graduate Teacher with five (5) years’ experience.
