BASSETERRE(11TH NOV., 2018):  Beach Cleanups, motorcade, photo competition, Soca Zumba, Student Field Trips, and a Heritage Walk are just some of the exciting activities of the 2018 Tourism Awareness Month, in  November.

Minister of Tourism, The Hon. Lindsay F.P. Grant, recently launched the month of activities and revealed the theme: “Reduce, Reuse, recycle: Let’s Work Together for a Greener Future.”

“This theme highlights the need to develop a truly sustainable tourism industry—one that balances tourism’s obvious economic benefits with conservation and protection of our natural and historical physical environment.” Minister Grant said. “Throughout this month a variety of events and activities will highlight the fact that TOURISM is indeed EVERYBODY’s business, AND we ALL have roll to play to better understand, support, and protect this industry as one of the key drivers of our economy.”

Activities for Tourism Awareness Month include the following:
