Weather Forecast for St. Kitts & Nevis: he interaction of a
tropical wave and a deep layered trough will create an environment
that supports the formation of showers and thunderstorm activity
over the Leewards today and tonight. Rainfall amounting to 2 inches
is possible today. Due to the potential for heavy rainfall, a
flash flood watch is now in effect until midnight tonight.

This watch could be upgraded to an advisory or warning at
short notice if warranted later today.

Weather today: Partly cloudy at first becoming increasingly cloudy
with periods of moderate showers and thunderstorms some of which
could be locally heavy this afternoon.

Weather tonight: Cloudy with occasional showers mixed with
lighter rain and a moderate chance of thunderstorms gradually
decreasing overnight.

Eastern Caribbean Forecast: The interaction of a tropical wave
and a deep layered trough will cause cloudy skies with moderate to
sometimes heavy showers and thunderstorms to prevail over the
islands from the northern Windward Islands westwards to Puerto
Rico during the next 24 hours and this could lead to localize flooding
in some of these islands.

The rest of the islands which include central
Windward Islands southwards to Trinidad and Tobago will see partly
cloudy to cloudy skies with a moderate chance of showers mainly
tonight
