Prime Minister and Minister of National Security, Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris will address the nation today, Friday, February 15th, 2019, on matters related to law and order in the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis.

Prime Minister Harris and the Federal Cabinet met with the High Command of the principal agencies responsible for national security and border safety on Tuesday, February 12th and again yesterday, Thursday, February 14th.

The Team Unity Government accepted the recommendations coming from these key agencies, which include the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force, the St. Kitts-Nevis Defence Force and Coast Guard, and the St. Kitts and Nevis Customs & Excise Department.

The Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis will make a statement to citizens and residents later today to apprise the country of security measures that will be implemented on a long-term basis.
