St. Kitts Listed As One of The Best Places to Visit in February

BASSETERRE (22nd February, 2019): St. Kitts Tourism Authority is delighted to announce that St. Kitts has been listed as the fifth best place in the world to go on holiday in February, by the highly-regarded UK newspaper, The Telegraph.

The article praises the island for being enticing and intriguing to visitors and highlights Basseterre and Turtle Beach.

Chief Executive Officer of the St. Kitts Tourism Authority, Racquel Brown, stated that the recognition shows that the marketing strategies are working to grow the UK market.

“We foster very close relationships with the UK media to ensure that people can be aware of the fantastic offering we have in St. Kitts for leisure, business and MICE travel. We are pleased to be welcoming more and more British travellers to our shores every year, and we hope that this trend continues long into the future.”

The top four spots were awarded to New Zealand, Miami, Andalusia, and St. Lucia while Hawaii, Oman, the Maldives, Zanzibar and Borneo rounded off  the remaining spots on the list.

The Telegraph is widely known as one of the world’s most reputable newspapers. It has an impressive daily print readership of over 360,000 and over 24.8 million monthly readers of its online platform telegraph.co.uk. The travel section of the website is where many travellers go to seek valuable, trusted information about destinations all over the world prior to planning a vacation – including St. Kitts.
