BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, May 24, 2019 (Press Unit in the Office of the Prime Minister)– Prime Minister Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris will give an account of the stewardship of his Team Unity-led administration when he meets with nationals living in the Diaspora in a town hall-styled meeting this coming Sunday, May 26.
The Diaspora Forum with the honourable prime minister will be held at the Bethesda Marriott, located at the 5151 Pooks Hill Road, Bethesda, Maryland. The meeting commences at 4:30pm.
Prime Minister Harris will be supported at the event by his Cabinet colleague and Minister responsible for Public Infrastructure, Posts, Urban Development and Transport, the Honourable Ian Patches Liburd.
The ministers are expected to update the nationals on a number of policy and infrastructural developments taking place under the Team Unity administration that continue to add to the socio-economic advancement of the twin island Federation.
These include the $69 million dollar island main road rehabilitation project, progress on the construction of the second cruise pier at Port Zante, both of which fall under the direction and purview of the Minister Liburd.
It is also anticipated that Prime Minister Harris will comment on the social intervention programmes initiated by his Team Unity administration, such as the historic and highly touted Poverty Alleviation Programme (P.A.P).
