Erratum for SRO No. 13 of 2020

With reference to the above captioned subject matter, the SRO No. 13 of 2020 was published with some errors. The SRO is entitled, “Resolution of the National Assembly made under section 19(3) of the Saint Christopher and Nevis 1983 Constitution Order”, and appeared in Extraordinary Gazette No. 28 of 2020 which was published on the 17th day ofApril, 2020. The errors referred to are as follows:

  • The expression “for a period’ occurring in paragraghs 5, 7 and 8 should read “up to a period’
    In paragraph 7, the expression, “or such shorter period’, should read, “or such shorter period as may be specified’
  • In paragraph 8, the expression, “six months”, should read, “six months or such shorter period as may be specified’
  • In paragraph 8, the expression, “18” should read “17”

NOTICE

His Excellency The Governor-General has been pleased to make the following Statutow Rules and Orders on 12th May 2020:

No. 17 of 2020 Proclamation dated the 12th day of May, 2020 dissolving the National Assembly of Saint Christopher and Nevis.
