The High Commission of India presents its compliments to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Aviation, Government of St_ Kitts and Nevis, and has the honour to forward herewith details of Scholarships offered by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), Govemment of India under the Commonwealth Scholarship Plan for the academic session 2021-2022.
Four scholarships are available under the Commonwealth Scholarship Plan with tuition, stipend, contingent grant, house rent allowance/ accommodation, thesis and dissertation expenses covered by the Government Of India, airfare is excluded
Undergraduate, Post-Graduate and Post-Doctoral Research courses are available under this Plan_ The Council does not offer admission In Medical/ Paramedical (Nursing/Physiotherapy/Anesthesia etc.) nor fashion course.
It is important that applicants read the guidelines before applying for a Course on the Scholarship’s Portal at http://a2asch01arships.iccr.gov_inlassets/site/docs/P01icy They are to be advised to visit the websites of the Universities/lnstitutes (list of Universities and Institutes are available on the ICCR portal) and do thorough research of Courses offered, eligibility criteria and general information about each preferred University/ Institute before applying for admission. The applicants should ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria for the course and should submit all relevant documentation as required by the University’s in addition to the basic certificates mentioned in the online application form.
Applications are to be filed at http://a2asch01arships.iccr.gov.in/home/register. A recent passport size photograph (not more than 3_5x4_5cm i.e 25kb) should be uploaded on the application form. Copies of all academic qualifications, certificates and mark sheets, including those relating to school leaving examination along with a certificate of physical fitness in the prescribed form. recommendations/character certificates from existing school as required by the Universities and certified copy Of bio-data page Of applicant’s valid passport are to be uploaded also.
A printed and signed copy of the Application along with copies of all documents, uploaded on the Portal, are also to be submitted to High Commission of India not later than April 20, 2021.
