Basseterre, St. Kitts, September 03, 2021 (SKNIS): Chair of the National COVID-19 Task Force, Abdias Samuel, said that plans have been made to create a bubble at Port Zante for service providers and guests when the Celebrity Equinox docks in Basseterre on September 14, 2021, with over 1,400 passengers.

Only service providers who are fully vaccinated will be allowed to operate. Additionally, only those service providers, who underwent the travel approved seal training with the St. Kitts Tourism Authority and the Ministry of Health will be allowed into the bubble. An inspection of the service providers’ business will also be carried out.

Service providers who have any questions with respect to their operation and the certified process should contact the St. Kitts Tourist Authority for information.  -30-
