20 September, Basseterre, Saint Christopher (St Kitts) and Nevis – The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) will engage stakeholders on the topic ‘Pandemic and Education’ when discussions resume on 28 September with a new series of its Digital Dialogues.

The ECCB recognises that one of the biggest disruptions resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic has been to education, and that the abrupt switch to online modes of delivering education has exposed some difficult consequences of the digital divide. Furthermore, it recognises a 2021 United Nations report on the Sustainable Development Goals which laments the tragic impact of COVID-19 on
Goal 4 – “Ensure Inclusive and Equitable Quality Education and Promote Lifelong opportunities for All”.
