Basseterre: St. Kitts, Monday, October 05, 2021:​ The finals for the annually held Primary
School Independence Elocution Competition is slated to be held on Thursday, October 07, 2021,
at 4:00pm at the Antioch Baptist Church.

The schools and their representatives that advanced to the finals are:
St. Paul’s Primary School represented by Calixthe Hodge; the Sandy Point Primary School
represented by Aavion Zakers; The Cayon Primary School will be represented by Keverne
Gilbert; Joshua Obadiah Williams Primary represented by Ajhannyae Stokes; Anjanique Singh
will represent Deane Glassford Primary School; Beach Allen Primary School will be
represented by Tyler Maynard; Seventh Day Adventist Primary School will be represented by
Cristopher France and the Maurice Hillier Memorial Junior School will be represented by Yonae
Decosta.

All students will present on Elston ‘Ellie Matt’ Nero’s song entitled ‘Good Enough for Me.’
The Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Education Mr. William Hodge expressed the
Ministry’s continued commitment to creating opportunities for students to actively express
their patriotism in a variety of ways.
