St. Kitts Looks Forward to Upcoming Winter Season

BASSETERRE (2ND November, 2021):St. Kitts is welcoming travelers this upcoming winter season with new direct flights from major U.S. airports and an increase in cruise ship arrivals, including four inaugural calls from top cruise lines.

Beginning today, November 2, 2021, travelers can fly daily from Miami to St. Kitts on American Airlines. These services will continue beyond the holiday peak season with daily flights available until April 2, 2022. Additional flight services will be available during the winter season on American Airlines. Full direct flight schedule includes:

ASPIRE Financial Literacy Day 2025 Set to Empower Youth Across Saint Kitts and Nevis

  • Miami (MIA) to St. Kitts (SKB): Daily starting November 2, 2021
  • A second Miami (MIA) to St. Kitts (SKB) flight: 2x Daily (Saturday and Sunday): starting December 18, 2021
  • Charlotte (CLT) to St. Kitts (SKB): Weekly (Saturday) starting December 18, 2021
  • New York (JFK) to St. Kitts (SKB): Weekly (Saturday) starting November 20 and 27, 2021, and continuing weekly on December 18, 2021

Travelers who book before December 31 can take advantage of St. Kitts’ latest Winter Escape promotion. Part of the island’s celebrated “Awake Your Sense of Wander” campaign, the Winter Escape promotion invites vaccinated travelers to enjoy offerings ranging from percentage discounts to free nights on multi-night bookings, to complimentary breakfast, for travel through April 30, 2022. Travelers can explore specific offerings at each of the participating hotels – The Four Seasons, Nevis, Montpelier Plantation and Beach, Park Hyatt St. Kitts Christophe Harbour, St. Kitts Marriott Resort & The Royal Beach Casino, Royal St. Kitts, – on the official landing page here.

This month, St. Kitts will also receive an increased number of cruise ships calls, including four cruise ship arrivals during the first week of November, the island’s first four-ship-week since before the pandemic, and the only marquee port in the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) to receive four ships. During November, St. Kitts will receive 28 cruise calls with an estimated total of 72,163 passengers.

Only travelers who are fully vaccinated can travel to St. Kitts by air. For entry into the Federation of St. Kitts & Nevis, all Travel Protocols and Requirements remain in place, including the submission of negative test results from an RT PCR test 72 hours prior to arrival.

As of November 1, the current vaccination rate in St. Kitts to date is 76.9% first dose in adults 18 and over, and 72.5% second dose in adults 18 and over. For kids 12 to 17, vaccination rate is 12.2% first dose and 8.9% second dose.
