“Ladies and gentlemen, the only flu that’s going around right now in the Federation is COVID,” Dr. Laws stated, “If you are experiencing these flu-like or COVID-like symptoms you are probably or more than likely affected by COVID-19.”

In such cases, Dr. Laws strongly encouraged individuals to do the responsible thing to protect others within their personal circle and community. The advice is to refrain from going to work, church, a funeral, social engagement or other types of outing.

“We want you to self-isolate, remain at home,” Dr. Laws added. “Persons are recovering nicely with regards to COVID at this time.”
The average recovery time is seven to 10 days for fully vaccinated individuals.

Persons are also encouraged to get tested. Testing is available at hospitals and several private laboratories.
