Basseterre, St. Kitts, September 21, 2022 (SKNIS): His Excellency Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, President of the Portuguese Republic, has expressed congratulations to St. Kitts and Nevis for achieving 39 years of political Independence.
A letter to Governor-General, His Excellency Sir S. W. Tapley Seaton, was dispatched from the Embassy of Portugal in Caracas on September 16, 2022, with best wishes for the twin-island state.
It stated, “On the occasion of the National Day of Saint Kitts and Nevis, I would like to convey to Your Excellency my congratulations and sincere wishes for your personal well-being and for the progress and prosperity of the people of Saint Kitts and Nevis.”
St. Kitts and Nevis celebrated its 39th Anniversary of Independence on September 19, 2022.
