Tour operators from notable tour operating companies such as Liv & Travel, Classic Vacations, Hopper, Alice Platform, Sackville Travel, OTS Global, and Air Canada Vacations journeyed to the destination after a robust week at Caribbean Travel Marketplace in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

The purpose of their trip is to facilitate dialogues that can enrich the island’s tourism position, create partnerships, and expand existing affiliations.

The Honourable Minister took the time to speak about the recently launched campaign dubbed ‘Venture Deeper’, a campaign aimed at reenergizing and electrifying tourism in the Federation after the COVID-19 pandemic.

She said, “The campaign beckons travelers to immerse themselves in the wonders of St. Kitts as they venture deeper into our rich history, vibrant culture, recreational activities, cuisine, and local rum production. We are confident this new campaign will assist you in generating demand and destination desire.”

Minister Henderson also spoke about the local experiences the Federation has to offer.

“As you explore the historic Brimstone Hill Fortress and National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Alexander Hamilton Museum in Nevis, the birthplace of the US founding father, or as you indulge in the smooth rum-tasting at the Old Road Rum company, you will begin to discover that the destination is incredibly diverse in its offerings,” she added.
