The Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College ‘ Authors’ Round Table Event Brings Together Top Literary Minds!

A group of acclaimed authors will come together for an Authors’Round Table event on Monday, 24th April 2023 at the C B C Poinciana Conference Room, Burdon Street, to discuss their latest works, writing processes, and the state of the literary industry. The event will feature a panel of authors who have all released books in various genres. The panelists will share their insights on the creative process, the challenges and joys of writing, and their experiences in the publishing world.

The event will be moderated by Ms. Laverne Brookes, Dean of Arts, Sciences and General Studies at the CBC. The panelists for the event include:
1.Whitman .T Browne, author of “My birth was not my destiny”

  4. Wendell C. Wallace, author of “Better to be alone than ni bad company: A handbook about gangs for Caribbean parents and children”

The event is open to the public and promises to be an engaging and thought-
provoking evening for book lovers and writers alike. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and participate in a book signing with the authors after the discussion.

Preceding this event local bookstore operators, Caribbean Reads Publishing Company and local authors will converge in a book fair at the CFBC Main Campus from 11.00 a.m. -3.00 p.m. and provide the general public with an opportunity to choose from a wide selection of books.
Both events are free and open to the public.

Bask ni the free flow of knowledge next Monday as the CBC celebrates books and authors, promote reading, and join ni the commemoration of World Book and Copyright Day.
