The week kicked off with an inspiring speech by the Minister, setting the tone for a week full of insightful events. The Creative Currency Panel Discussion took place on Monday, stimulating discussions on innovative approaches to business. On Tuesday, the GEW Entrepreneurship Summit focused on Financial Literacy, presented by Mr. Wendell Lawrence OBE, equipping entrepreneurs with essential knowledge to thrive in the business landscape.

One of the highlights of the week was the launch of the Primary School Essay Competition on Wednesday, under the theme “My Dream Business.” This initiative aims to instill entrepreneurial thinking in the youth and encourage them to dream big in the world of business.

The festivities will culminate on Friday with a Trade Fair at Independence Square, held in collaboration with the Energy Unit. This fair is a unique opportunity for businesses to showcase their products and services, fostering collaboration and networking within the community.

The Ministry extends a warm invitation to the residents of Sandy Point and its surrounding environs to join the Community Business Meeting on Thursday at Sandy Point Primary School. This event promises to be an interactive session where community members can engage with the Ministry, Inland Revenue Department, Development Bank of St. Kitts-Nevis, Consumer Affairs Department and Dcash.

Additionally, the Ministry invites everyone to attend the Trade Fair on Friday at Independence Square, where a diverse array of businesses will be on display. This is a chance for the community to support local enterprises and witness the entrepreneurial spirit in action.
