MAN AND THE BIOSPHERE (MAB) PLANNING COMMITTEE MEETING DISCUSSES ST. MARY’S BIOSPHERE REVIEW

Basseterre, St. Kitts, Monday, July 01, 2024: The Man and the Biosphere (MAB) Planning Committee convened a series of meetings on Monday, July 1, to discuss the forthcoming review of the St. Mary’s Biosphere. This critical meeting brought together key stakeholders to deliberate on the strategies needed to ensure the effective management of the biosphere.

A significant highlight of the meeting was the participation of Mrs. June-Marie Mow Robinson, a consultant sent by UNESCO. Mrs. Robinson’s presence underscored the importance of the review and the global commitment to preserving the unique ecological and cultural landscapes of the St. Mary’s Biosphere.
