“Teachers, you are the Rolls Royce engine of education and without your continuous hard work and dedication our students would not be successful. Despite the challenges you have faced, your commitment to our students and their education never wavered. Your resilience and innovation have been truly inspiring, and I am deeply grateful for all that you do. My sincerest thanks to all of you as you expertly navigate the challenges that often seem inherent to our profession”, Minister Hanley exclaimed with admiration for the teaching fraternity as they creatively overcame the obstacles of the past school year.

This commitment transcends mere words but has been and will continue to be the clarion call for the Ministry of Education. We are committed to improving your working conditions and will continue to champion the cause of the men and women of our great fraternity. Teachers, the Ministry of Education has partnered with the St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank to create a Teachers’ Supply Debit Card which will be loaded with $300 ECD annually.
