Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Terrance Drew, during the recent Round Table discussion, emphasized the BBW’s dual role in providing immediate financial relief to households and fostering economic activity among small enterprises. He stated, “This initiative ensures that the support reaches not just major supermarkets but also small community shops, farmers, and service providers. Everyone can participate, from the corner shop in St. Paul’s to the small farmer in Conaree. This is about building resilience within our economy.”

The BBW operates through JAD, a locally developed digital wallet system, in partnership with the St. Kitts Nevis and Anguilla National Bank. This collaboration guarantees secure and efficient transactions fully integrated within the local financial ecosystem.

The Budget Boost Wallet remains open for registration, and businesses are encouraged to enroll as vendors to capitalize on increased consumer spending. This initiative exemplifies the government’s commitment to economic resilience and inclusive growth.
