Basseterre, Saint Kitts (4 February 2025) – On February 10th, 2025, the Cybernetica team, led by CEO Michael Buckland, paid a courtesy call on the Honorable Minister of ICT and Post, Konris Maynard. During the meeting, the Minister clearly outlined his vision for St. Kitts and Nevis to establish itself as a regional leader, setting a standard for other countries to emulate. He stressed the importance of aligning with the nation’s long-term dreams and aspirations, underscoring that Cybernetica’s expertise and involvement would be crucial in achieving these ambitious goals.

Government of St. Kitts and Nevis Unveils Vibrant “Independence 42” Calendar, Celebrating 42 Yearsof Sovereign Progress

The Minister expressed his confidence in Cybernetica’s ability to deliver a transformative solution, emphasizing the high expectations for the project’s success. 

In response, Michael Buckland showcased Cybernetica’s 25-year history of excellence, innovation, and industry leadership, highlighting the company’s significant role in building some of Estonia’s most renowned e-services, which are now recognized as models in digital governance.

Over the next five days, the Cybernetica team will hold in-depth discussions with a range of key stakeholders, including representatives from the Ministry of National Security, the Ministry of Health, the Prime Minister’s Office, the Ministry of ICT and Post, the ISPS, the Telecommunications Department, the Legal Department, as well as the Business and Financial sectors of St. Kitts and Nevis. These engagements will ensure a collaborative approach to shaping the future of digital transformation in the country.

Present during the courtesy call was Permanent Secretary: Cheryleann Pemberton, Head of Digital Transformation: Nigel Carty, Director of ICT: Camille Bruno-Audain, and E-Government Coordinator: Ophelia Blanchard.
