Bringing together key stakeholders from various sectors, this initiative is a critical component of the ACP QI Programme, a collaborative effort between the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Regional Organisation for Standards and Quality (CROSQ) and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).

Funded by the European Union (EU), the programme aims to enhance quality infrastructure across the Caribbean by improving regional quality and regulatory infrastructure governance, strengthening value chain-specific quality infrastructure services, promoting a culture of quality and best practices, and enhancing the business environment for investments through quality systems and conformity assessment.

Stakeholders’ participation is crucial in ensuring that the national strategy aligns with Saint Kitts and Nevis’ priorities and effectively supports local industries. During the session, attendees will gain a comprehensive understanding of the initiative’s objectives, allowing them to assess and validate research findings with their expertise and insights.

The event will also serve as a platform to identify and establish national standards priorities, ensuring that these align with the country’s developmental and economic needs. Additionally, it will encourage commitment from key industry and governmental stakeholders, fostering collaboration and collective responsibility in the development and implementation of national quality standards.

This session underscores Saint Kitts and Nevis’ commitment to advancing quality standards, fostering economic growth, and ensuring the development of a robust regulatory framework to support businesses and industries nationwide.
