St. Kitts, July 06, 2025 – The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force, during a recent press conference on Thursday, July 03, 2025, reported a substantial decrease in crime across the Federation, including a remarkable 75 percent reduction in homicides.

This significant decline underscores the effectiveness of the strategies implemented by the Ministry of National Security. It is one of the most notable improvements in public safety across the Caribbean region.

The Government of Saint Kitts and Nevis, in close collaboration with stakeholders including citizens and residents, has embraced a public health approach to crime and violence. The results of this holistic strategy are now evident. It focuses on prevention, intervention, and rehabilitation, ensuring that safety is addressed not only through enforcement but also through community well-being.

The High Command of the Police Force emphasised that community involvement is essential to keeping our nation safe. They expressed sincere gratitude to the public for its cooperation and to the Government for its full support. The police are also asking for the continued cooperation of all citizens and residents as they work to further strengthen public safety across the Federation.

The fight against crime is a shared responsibility, and this positive trend proves that when we work together, we can build a safer and stronger country.
