A BILL to amend the Housing and Social Development Levy Act, Cap. 20.21 and for  related matters  

BE IT ENACTED by the King’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the National Assembly of Saint Christopher and Nevis, and by the authority of the same as follows: 

1. Short title. 

This Act may be cited as the Housing and Social Development Levy (Amendment) Act, 2025.  2. Amendment of section 3 of the Act.  

The Act is amended in section 3 subsection (2) subparagraph (a) as follows:  

 “(2)(a) in the case of an employee whose wages are up to $27,040.00 ($520.00 per  week), 0% by the employee, and 3% by the employer in respect of the wages  the employer pays to the employee;
