This workshop is part of the World Bank’s ongoing support to assist Saint Kitts and Nevis in meeting its obligations under the World Trade Organization’s Trade Facilitation Agreement (TFA). It brought together members of the National Trade Facilitation Committee, border agencies, customs brokers, manufacturers, and exporters for capacity-building sessions designed to enhance coordination, efficiency, and implementation of the TFA.

The Trade Facilitation Agreement seeks to streamline customs procedures, reduce red tape, and eliminate unnecessary bureaucratic barriers in order to lower the cost of trade and promote economic growth through increased global trade participation.

The Government of Saint Kitts and Nevis expresses sincere appreciation to the World Bank for its continued partnership in advancing trade facilitation initiatives. We also thank our national stakeholders and participants for their active involvement and commitment to this important mission.

For further information on the Trade Facilitation Agreement and how it may benefit your business, please contact the Ministry of International Trade at (869) 465-1069 or email foreigntrade@gov.kn.
