Basseterre, Saint Kitts and Nevis, December 11, 2025 — The ASPIRE Programme (Achieving Success through Personal Investment, Resources and Education) today announced the official launch of its social media channels as part of a national public engagement drive to raise awareness, encourage enrolment, and share financial-literacy resources with parents, teachers and students across the Federation.
ASPIRE — which provides every eligible child citizen with a seeded savings account, an investment stake, and a curriculum of age-appropriate financial education — has already reached an important early milestone: 4,207 ASPIRE bank accounts have been opened. With the programme expanding steadily, the task force is using social media to make information, tutorials and event updates more accessible, interactive and immediate for families and schools.
The new official channels are:
- Facebook: facebook.com/aspire.skn
- Instagram: instagram.com/aspire.skn
- TikTok: tiktok.com/@aspire.skn

“The ASPIRE social media platforms will help us meet parents, guardians and students where they are — online and on the move — and will be a vital tool in our mission to build money-wise youth,” said Dr Marcus L Natta, Chair of the ASPIRE Task Force. “Through short videos, step-by-step sign-up guides, informational resources and real stories from families, we’ll demystify savings and investing, celebrate milestones and invite the entire community to help our young people ASPIRE to greatness.”
The Honourable Dr Terrance M Drew, Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis welcomed the launch, noting the programme’s far-reaching benefits: “ASPIRE is about more than a bank account; it is about hope, opportunity and national development. By giving our children a solid financial foundation — savings, future investment and education — we are investing in the leaders, entrepreneurs and citizens of tomorrow. I encourage every parent and guardian to follow ASPIRE on social media and sign up their child today at aspire.gov.kn.”
The ASPIRE social channels will feature:
- Clear, step-by-step registration support and a tutorial video series to assist parents with on-the-spot enrolment;
- Bite-sized financial lessons and classroom materials teachers can use to support the national curriculum;
- Live event updates (including ASPIRE Day sign-up drives, community activations and school visits);
- Success stories and participant milestones to inspire wider participation; and
- Frequently asked questions and official announcements about the rollout of the investment-shares component and expanded financial-education modules in 2026.
Community outreach has already begun with ASPIRE Day events, school presentations and targeted public information campaigns. The Task Force has also teamed with the Ministry of Education, Department of ICT, National Bank and other partners to ensure accounts are opened quickly and securely and that beneficiaries begin earning interest immediately. Parents are reminded that while the investment component will be brought on stream in 2026, the seeded savings accounts are active now.
“As we scale ASPIRE, our communications will remain transparent and practical,” added Dr Natta. “Social media gives us the chance to show — in real time — how small, steady steps can create lasting change in a young person’s life.”

Parents and guardians who wish to enrol a child or find out more are urged to visit the programme website at aspire.gov.kn and to follow ASPIRE on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok for the latest updates.
