The funds will assist with mammograms, chemotherapy, radiation, and support services for women battling breast cancer.

The Prime Minister further announced that next year’s focus will include men’s health initiatives, particularly prostate cancer awareness and support.

“I see too many men who are suffering quietly,” he said. “I am going to seed the first $5,000 of my personal money toward a positive cancer fund for our men.”

Dr. Drew also used the opportunity to encourage men across the Federation to come forward, organize, and establish formal support structures.

“We must take care of the whole family, men, women, and children,” he affirmed.

The initiative forms part of the Government’s broader health transformation agenda, which prioritizes prevention, early detection, and community-based support.
