The Department of Environment in collaboration with the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) invites suitable and interested persons to apply for the title of Consultancy – Development of Cabinet Briefing Papers for the Project “Advancing the Nagoya Protocol in countries of the Caribbean Region”.
The successful candidate will be employed for a period of two months from September 01 – October 30, 2017.
Candidates must have at least a degree or relevant qualification in legal or policy drafting, knowledge in environmental law, or similar area; experience working on similar projects is an asset, working Knowledge of the Nagoya ABS Protocol and Convention on Biological Diversity, as well as the willingness to travel within the Caribbean as required for the consultancy. He or she must be fluent in English and must have a good command of the computer.
Deadline for receipt of applications is Friday, August 25, 2017.
