The local leg of the medical mission runs from October 05 to 10, 2019. Minister Phipps pledged the government’s full support of the mission and thanked the U.S. team for the collaboration and cooperation in what is expected to be “a positive mission that benefits the lives” of nationals and residents.

Saturday’s opening ceremony was also attended by Governor-General His Excellency Sir S. W. Tapley Seaton, Prime Minister Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris, other members of the Cabinet and senior government officials.

Southcom.mil notes that, “The mission reflects the United States’ enduring promise of friendship, partnership, and solidarity with the people of the Americas.
