PUBLIC SHIFTING AWAY FROM SINGLE-USE PLASTICS

On 9th April 2021, explosive eruptions began at the La Soufrière volcano in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Thousands of Vincentians have been displaced and many more are now without reliable sources of water and other basic amenities.
Today, 12th April 2021, the St. Kitts and Nevis Bar Association has donated roughly $3,000 worth of water and essential goods to the people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. These items will depart for St. Vincent tomorrow and will go toward meeting some of the immediate needs of our regional neighbours.
We encourage everyone to assist where you can in the effort to provide support for the people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines in their time of need.
