POSITION: SECURITY OFFICER
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Enforce CFBC’s rules and regulations
- Secure the campuses (including faculty, staff, students, buildings, vehicles, and equipment)
- Patrol all campuses and surroundings including unsupervised areas
- Provide written and verbal reports regarding the safety status of CFBC
- Assist in crafting security policies and regulations
- Ensure that no unauthorized persons are on the premises
- Provide relief duty for security personnel on sick leave/day-off/ vacation
- Intervene in activities that may result in injury and assist with emergencies
- Carry out safety inspection to prevent and or minimize accidents
QUALIFICATIONS, REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:
Minimum Education requirement – Three (3) CSEC level passes including English
Prior experience as a Security Officer or in law enforcement would be advantageous
Training in security and report writing would be an asset
Training in CCTV would be an asset
Basic first aid skills would be advantageous
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent customer service skills
Observant with a high degree of alertness
Possess a quick analytical mind with a decisive nature and attention to detail.
Physical strength and fitness
Must be willing to undergo a psychological evaluation
