Saint Kitts and Nevis Delegation Engages with Prime Minister Duck-soo Han of the Republic of Korea

Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, 5th July 2023 (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) – The delegation of Saint Kitts and Nevis at the 45th Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of CARICOM, headed by Mr. Glenroy Blanchette, Permanent Secretary held bilateral talks with His Excellency Duck-Soo Han of the Republic of Korea.

His Excellency took the time to convey his deepest sympathy to the Prime Minister of Saint Kitts and Nevis Honourable Dr. Terrance Drew and his family during this difficult time.  He hailed the almost 40-year diplomatic relationship between both countries and signaled that there are increasing opportunities for cooperation in both public and private sectors. 

Mr. Blanchette hailed Korea as a shining example of success and took the opportunity to express gratitude on behalf of the Honourable Prime Minister, the Government, and the people of Saint Kitts and Nevis for the continuous support that Korea has provided to Saint Kitts and Nevis, especially in the areas of health and education.  Mr. Blanchette also spoke to the Government’s vision to make Saint Kitts and Nevis the first Sustainable Island State.
