The Medicinal Cannabis Authority is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Attendant to support the daily operations of our office. This role is essential in maintaining a welcoming and organized environment for both staff and visitors. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a professional demeanor, and a commitment to confidentiality and compliance within the medicinal cannabis sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Manage incoming calls and emails, directing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a clean and organized office environment, including common areas and meeting rooms.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of office materials and supplies.
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and document management.
- Support staff with scheduling and coordinating meetings or appointments.
- Assist in maintaining records related to inquiries from the public and office operations.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Deliver and collect mail or packages on behalf of the Authority
- Collaborate with team members to improve office efficiency and workflow.
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s license with minimum three years’ experience as a licensed driver
- Previous experience in an office or administrative role is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to compliance regulations.
- Successful candidate must be trustworthy, honest, reliable, responsible and well-mannered
Salary will be based on qualifications of the successful candidate. The annual salary can range from K16 to K21.
