The consultations—comprising two community-based meetings and one national forum—are designed to facilitate meaningful dialogue between the Government and citizens, allowing for public input in determining national priorities and fiscal strategies for the 2026 financial year.
The first consultation takes place on Wednesday, 15th October 2025, at the Saddlers Primary School, beginning at 6 p.m..
Details regarding the second community consultation and the National Budget Forum will be announced in the coming days, as plans are being finalised to ensure maximum participation and accessibility for all stakeholders across the Federation.
The public engagements are a critical part of the budget formulation process, ensuring that the voices of citizens, community organisations, and the private sector are reflected in the nation’s development agenda.
Through these consultations, the Government reaffirms its commitment to inclusive governance, transparency, accountability and partnership as key pillars in building a sustainable and resilient island state.
