Basseterre, St. Kitts, February 01, 2024 (SKNIS): Land-based aquaculture will be expanded in 2024, as part of the St. Kitts’ Department of Marine Resources strategy to reduce the Federation’s food import bill by 25 percent in 2025. Aquaculture covers the rearing of aquatic animals or the cultivation of aquatic plants for food. M.A.G.I.C. was adopted in St. Kitts and Nevis in 2012 by the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force as part of the collaboration with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office in Florida.
