Basseterre, St. Kitts, July 03, 2021 (SKNIS): The Ministry of Health’s robust contact tracing continues to identify new cases of COVID-19 with thirty-three (33) positive results within the last 48 hours and 25 persons fully recovered. St. Kitts & Nevis COVID-19 Situation Report No. 464 as of Saturday, July 03, 2021, states that the total number of confirmed cases now stands at 490 with 257 active cases, 230 recovered cases and three deaths. 472 of those cases were recorded in St. Kitts while 18 were registered in Nevis. To date, there have been 21, 102 negative results.
Basseterre, St. Kitts, July 03, 2021 (SKNIS): The Ministry of Social Development has expanded its care package initiative to benefit households in need of support as a result of a loss of income or reduced income due to the community spread of COVID-19 in St. Kitts and Nevis. Basseterre, St. Kitts, July 02, 2021 (SKNIS): Osmond Petty, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of National Security, announced during the NEOC COVID-19 Press Briefing for Friday, July 02, 2021, that just around 50 percent of the population at Her Majesty’s Prison (HMP) have received at least the first dose of the Oxford-AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine. “There are 179 inmates at Her Majesty’s Prison of which 89 have been vaccinated, that is just around 50 percent.
