The National Covid-19 Task Force is addressing two security breaches that haveoccurred within the past four days at a resort on Nevis that had been approvedto offer guests a “vacation in place” quarantine option which permits guests whotest negative for Covid-19 upon arrival to utilise the services and amenities ofthe resort without leaving the property. As of Thursday, March 11, 2021 the Federation has confirmed one additional case of coronavirusdisease. The international traveler landed in the Federation on Wednesday March 10, 2021 fromthe United States of America (USA). The patient has been in quarantine at one of the COVID-19certified sites since arrival. The patient was duly notified and is now in isolation.This additional case brings the total number of COVID-19 confirmed cases to 43 with 30cases for St. Kitts and 13 cases for Nevis.
